Mobile Quick Guide

Tamu works on any phone browser — no app download needed. Your dashboard automatically adapts to your screen size so you can manage bookings, check arrivals, and block dates on the go.

Using Tamu on Your Phone

Tamu's dashboard is fully mobile-responsive. When you open tamuhq.com on your phone, the layout adjusts automatically — the sidebar collapses into a bottom navigation bar, tables become scrollable cards, and buttons are sized for touch. Everything you can do on desktop, you can do on mobile.

Navigation

On mobile, the left sidebar is replaced by a bottom navigation bar with five tabs:

Dashboard

Your home screen — occupancy summary, today's arrivals and departures, recent activity.

Bookings

Full list of all reservations. Tap any row to see details.

Calendar

Visual availability grid. Tap dates to block or unblock.

Earnings

Revenue overview, payout history, and financial reports.

Access to WhatsApp links, settings, iCal sync, reports, and your profile.

Check Today's Arrivals

Tap Dashboard in the bottom navigation bar
Scroll down to the Arriving Today section
You will see a list of guests checking in today — each card shows the guest name, room, check-in time, and booking source
Tap any arrival card to view full booking details including guest contact info and special requests

Block Dates on Mobile

Tap Calendar in the bottom navigation bar
The calendar shows a month view — booked dates appear as colored blocks, available dates are white
Tap on the date you want to block — a detail panel slides up from the bottom
Tap the Block button to mark that date as unavailable
To block a range, tap the start date, then tap the end date — all dates in between will be selected
Tap Save to confirm. Blocked dates will appear with a striped pattern on the calendar

View Booking Details

Tap Bookings in the bottom navigation bar
You will see a list of all bookings sorted by date — each row shows the guest name, dates, room, and status
Tap any booking row to open the full detail view
The detail view shows: guest name and contact, check-in and check-out dates, room assigned, total amount, payment status, booking source (Airbnb, Booking.com, direct, etc.), and any special requests

Generate WhatsApp Link

Tap More in the bottom navigation bar
Tap WhatsApp from the menu
Select the room you want to generate a booking link for
Choose the check-in and check-out dates
Tamu generates a pre-filled WhatsApp message with the room details, dates, and a direct booking link
Tap Share via WhatsApp to open WhatsApp with the message ready to send to your guest

Quick Tips

Save to Home Screen

On Safari, tap the Share button and select "Add to Home Screen." On Chrome, tap the three-dot menu and select "Add to Home Screen." This gives you one-tap access like a native app.

Use Landscape for Calendar

Rotate your phone sideways when viewing the calendar. The wider view makes it easier to see a full month of availability at a glance.

Pull Down to Refresh

On any page, pull down from the top of the content area to refresh the data. This is useful after making changes or to check for new bookings.
